Webinar “Representing violence: (meta)narratives – memories – commitments”
February – April 2026
Within the framework of the NEOLAiA consortium, the University of Tours is pleased to invite you to participate in our next webinar “Representing violence: (meta)narratives – memories – commitments”. The aim of this webinar is to provide a space for transdisciplinary and transnational reflection, while promoting training and networking of young researchers who explore collective violence, its memory and representations across Europe. This online programme will be followed by a six-day PhD university (two-day doctoral conference + a set of methodological master classes and career trainings), organised at the University of Tours from the 18th to the 23rd of May 2026, and a multilingual digital publication.
All PhD students willing to participate in this PhD training are invited to submit their application by addressing a cover letter explaining the nature of their interest and, eventually, the connection with their PhD research before the 5th February 2026 to: representerlaviolence [arroba] gmail [punto] com (representerlaviolence[at]gmail[dot]com). We would also kindly ask you to specify in your cover letter if your interest concerns:
1. only the webinar (a detailed programme could be sent to applicants on request starting from the 30th January) ;
2. the PhD university week at the University of Tours and the subsequent online publication as well (4 spots).

RESOLUCIÓN DEL VICERRECTORADO DE INTERNACIONALIZACIÓN DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE JAÉN, DE 23 DE OCTUBRE DE 2025 POR LA QUE SE CONVOCAN PLAZAS PARA LA MOVILIDAD DE ESTUDIANTES EN EL MARCO DEL PROGRAMA ERASMUS + KA 131 (TERCER CICLO- DOCTORADO)
objetivos generales de la presente convocatoria con la estrategia de internacionalización de la UJA, actualizada en la versión revisada en 2025 del III Plan Estratégico (2021-2029).
Destinatarios:
Estudiantes de la Universidad de Jaén matriculados en estudios de Doctorado. El periodo de estancia deberá tener lugar, como máximo, hasta el 31 de julio de 2027.
1. PROGRAMA DE ACTIVIDADES DE FORMACIÓN TRANSVERSAL
Durante cada curso académico la Escuela de Doctorado organizará las siguientes actividades:
1.1 Curso On-line asíncrono en Competencias Transversales de los Doctorados. Jaén, inicio estimado en el mes de abril.
1.2 Curso On-line síncrono en Competencias Transversales de los Doctorados. Jaén, abierto plazo de inscripción en el mes noviembre.
1.3 Jornadas Doctorales. Jaén, inicio estimado para el Segundo Cuatrimestre.
Curso de Competencias Transversales de los Doctorados:
- Actividad transversal. Marco general del doctorado
- Actividad transversal. Estructura de la investigación. Políticas de fomento
- Actividad transversal. Elaboración y seguimiento de proyectos de investigación
- Actividad transversal. Transferencia de conocimiento
- Actividad transversal. Comunicación, difusión y divulgación de la investigación
- Actividad transversal. Inserción profesional de calidad: orientación para el empleo
2. PROGRAMA DE FORMACIÓN DOCTORAL ESPECÍFICA. ORGANIZACIÓN Y FINANCIACIÓN DE LAS ACTIVIDADES FORMATIVAS ESPECÍFICAS INCLUIDAS EN LOS PROGRAMAS DE DOCTORADO.
2.1 Seminarios específicos organizados por los equipos de investigación de los programas de doctorado.
2.2 Ayudas para la realización de estancias destinadas a la realización de aportaciones relevantes y obtención de la mención internacional en el título de doctor.
3. PROGRAMA DE FOMENTO DE LA FORMACIÓN DE DIRECTORES DE TESIS Y DE LA CODIRECCIÓN
3.1 Seminarios formativos para directores noveles (aún por confirmar)
3.2 Ayudas para la realización de tesis doctorales en cotutela internacional .
